I used to come here as a college student. Very good seafood for an affordable price. The owners are also very sweet! Clam chowder is up there with San Francisco's. Waiting on there soups to hit the market!

Yummy food. Fried foods were fried perfectly and the breading is light and crisp not over powering. Fresh tasting and quality food. Friendly staff. Small restaurant, nothing special but clean. Soup was exceptional. Sides are home made.

THE BEST SEAFOOD EVER!!! Wish we would have come here our first day on vacation. Super friendly and amazing service. Recommend the scallops and crab cakes.

Great little place off the interstate. We stopped here on our way traveling up the east coast and it was worth every extra mile. I don't eat crab cakes very often, but their menu listed it as their most popular item so I decided to give it a chance, and it was well worth it!! Every bite was full of flavor, including the french fries and hush puppies. I was a little disappointed however they did not sell beer or wine though. Cold beer always go great with seafood and I could have really used one that day. The service there was good though. He offered some suggestions when I ordered and didn't feel annoyed when I asked question. Definietly will go back the next time I am in town.

We had dinner here a few weeks ago and overall, I was impressed. It's a low-key, truly local seafood place. In order to like this place, you have to enjoy eastern shore seafood. That means fried and salty. If you enjoy fried, salty seafood, this is your place; it's the kind of place where a seafood platter is served with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, lemon, and vinegar. Drinks are cans from the cooler. Good fish, good shrimp, good hush puppies. I was a tad disappointed in my jumbo lump crabcake. It had big lumps held together by lots of filler. I've never seen a crab cake made like that, and it was a bit disappointing. Next time I'll order the regular crab cake. Otherwise, the food was good and we'll definitely be going back. The prices are inline with what you'd expect of a local, home made seafood place. That is, not cheap, but not expensive for what it is, either. I think our rather large seafood platters were $20.

Outstanding! The amount of food for the price is great, and the people are so nice! A little market/lunch spot that where you order at the counter and pick it up for your table when ready. Or take out! They are known for their soups that will be in Food Lion and Giant supermarkets soon! Got some Maryland Crab Soup later. A must stop!

In Philadelphia it's hard to come across or find a place that has good fried fish however, in Princess Ann Maryland that isn't the case. Yesterday evening, I had a great piece of fish at Beach to Bay Seafood restaurant. I had a grouper fish sandwich with a side of onion rings, I also tasted the Whiting that my daughter had, both were Awesome! At the counter they have various breading products for sale and I asked if one of them is what they used to bread their fish with. Unfortunately, none of them were, but soon it will be for sale! If I ever pass through the area again or your in this area(right off of route 13),this is a MUST! You won't be disappointed.

While driving on the Eastern Shore we stopped at this great informal seafood joint. The owner provides friendly service and the menu gives you choices of platters or sandwiches of the freshest seafood. The crab soup was thick and spicy. We had fried shrimp and clams which were properly cooked and well seasoned The sides are homemade and delicious I recommend this spot if you are a seafood lover

They have awsome soft crab and grouper sandwiches!

I ordered the single crab cake and a bowl of creme of crab soup. I found the crab cake to be good, full of crab meat and little filler. The spice level was minimal, but it have some spice. I enjoyed it. I was not as impressed with the creme of crab soup. I was more like potato soup than crab soup. I tasted very little crab, but every bite had a lot of potato in it. The Waterman's Inn in Crisfield had the best creme of crab so far on my trip. It was creme and tons of crab, for the same price, served in a real bowl, not styrofoam. Also the atmosphere is rather low key. He gentleman waiting on me, which I assume is the owner, was friendly. The place is clean, and well kept.

Best food in Princess Anne, Md. Real seafood so it is worth the price. Also down the street from a neat little dessert store called Sno-Biz. Best options to dine in Somerset County.

What a terrific meal! We ordered the softshell crab platter and the grouper and they were both excellent. The sides were fresh and tasty The service was quick and and courteous. Definitely worth the stop!

Great locally owned seafood stop. Decor not much. Nothing fancy - styrofoam plates , counter service no waitresses. But good seafood and soups. Great pit stop

What a great find. We were looking for a hole-in-the-wall seafood place for lunch while traveling up U.S.-13, and this fit the bill perfectly. Platter portions are enormous, you can also get side orders of anything on the menu. Boy had a platter of hush puppies, potato salad, clam strips, fish filet, shrimp, and lump crab cake. His only complaint was "too much food." I had platter with fries, pasta salad, and clam strips. Everything was fresh, the fried food was breaded and fried perfectly, and seasoning was good on everything. If you're looking for seafood while traveling on 13 - make this your stop, we're glad we did.

I love the cream of crab soup with hush puppies dipped in! (would love to try the Maryland crab, but with acid reflux you have limited options). The jumbo lump crab cakes are definitely worth it! Potato salad and coleslaw are my favorites. I love ordering the chicken tender platter because every once in awhile I get one that looks just like a fish! Good association, am I right? I'm only giving four stars though because on two different occasions I ordered the tuna filet and it just tasted terribly bland and was not my favorite. Other than that, everything else I've had is pretty darn yummy.

First time at Beach to Bay Seafood. The jumbo lump crab-cake was fresh, not greasy, & very good. Their fried filleted flounder taste like It had the secret ingredients from Golden Skillet chicken on it. The cream of crab soup, & bay fries were also delicious. The prices were reasonable - $9 to $20 for a meal

I love this restaurant. I come here every time I'm on the Eastern Shore. I always get the grouper sandwich, bay fries, and fried oysters. You won't be disappointed!

Hmmm. Perhaps this was an off night or we ordered the wrong things. It could also be a matter of taste and expectations. After all, the restaurant did have what appeared to be repeat customers dropping in. I really wanted to like all the food, but I felt there were more misses than hits. Here's the rundown: Highlights were the fries and cole slaw. Truly fine sweet, crunchy cole slaw. The Maryland and Cream of Crab soups were also very good. Just over salted. Tuna platter: thin filet, dry, fishy tasting (not spoiled, but did not have the clean taste of a fresh piece of fish.) Lump Crab Cake: definitely contained lumps of crab. But the bread filler was very dense, salty, and dry, and completely overwhelmed the crab. Stewed tomatoes: salty and thick as spaghetti sauce. I searched for chunks of tomato among the purée. I can't say enough how nice the owners were. I feel badly the meal didn't work for me.

Tried this place out based on other yelp reviews when I was visiting the area. Everything we got was fantastic. Crab soup, crab cakes, cole slaw, beets, and rice pudding all on point. The owner was super friendly and talked to us while we were waiting. I found out some of their products will be in certain Maryland grocery stores soon, so I will be on the lookout!

Excellent seafood. Awesome clams and crab cakes. A little pricey but worth it if you've never been. Very informal atmosphere and out of the way. I would certainly go back.

Stopped here on our way back to MA from the OBX. Delicious crabcakes and wicked awesome service. We tried the regular and lump sandwiches for ease of eating in the car. Wish I had tried the cole slaw. Devouring the Herr's Old Bay chips! Can't wait to be back next year.

Stopped for lunch based on Yelp reviews on our way home to Philadelphia area after leaving the OBX. Ambience is so cool and the food is fantastic. I had the cream of crab soup and crab balls, hubby had the soft crab platter with bay fries and macaroni salad. Disappointed he didn't see it was also offered as a sandwich, it was that good. The owner was so nice as everyone else who worked there. Just off 13 but if you're not sure where it is, you'll miss it tucked behind a McD's, unjustly in our opinion. Go check this place out!

If you're looking for fresh seafood and a great little restaurant, Beach to Bay is your place! I'm a huge fan of the broiled flounder. The spices they use make this amazing. The platter comes with fries and your choice of a vegetable. The owner is a nice guy and enjoys having you in his restaurant. Stop in and get a little taste of the Eastern Shore!

If you're passing by on 13, you must stop here! We got the seafood combo #2, it fed two! The jumbo crab cake was delicious. Fillet of fish, yum! Fresh crunchy fries. Clam chowder is the soup of choice. Must get rice pudding; if you're full, get it to go. Our order: Combo #2 w/ fries and pickled beets Maryland Crab Soup Clam Chowder Diet Coke (in a can) Snapple (in a bottle) Rice Pudding Note: You will order at the counter and take your food to the table of your choice. -no servers-

Food was excellent. My tuna steak was perfect. My wife's fried oysters were incredible. If you really like seafood, this is the place to go. Everything is very fresh which is absolutely critical for seafood. The seasoning was perfect. Food took a little time to arrive, but that's because it's all cooked to order. There is no wait staff, you order at the counter and they call you when your food is ready. However considering the low price and the high food quality that's completely understandable. However if anybody in your group doesn't eat fish or seafood, there choice is going to be very limited. Also, they don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own and they do provide wine glasses, beer mugs, and corkscrews. We were just passing through, so sadly we won't be regulars.

As other reviews have said - make this part of your plans when driving through the eastern shore. The shecrab soup was amazing - and the rest awesome. Perfect dive place, that has great food, pleasant atmosphere, and easy to use.

I am giving this one star only because of the owner. I purchased pasterized crab meat to make crab cakes. When I opened it my house smelled so bad. I called and told the owner this. He said I could come in and get more???? I live an hour away. I thought he could give me a credit.

$40 for a huge lunch for two. Firs thing you should know is that EVERYTHING is prepared fresh in the shop. This isn't some place where they re-heat some pre-packaged product and take claim for it. From hush puppies, to cole slaw to fries, to potato salad and the seafood they make it there and they make it fresh. Yesterday my wife and I stopped by for lunch. I ordered the Flounder Filet plate with pickled beets and coleslaw for $8.95. My wife ordered the oyster plate with greens and french fries. My flounder was tasty: fresh, hot and with a nice batter crunch. The pickled beets were spicy, and the coleslaw is among the best I have ever tasted. Her fried oysters were HUGE. All in all it is a superb place for Eastern Shore seafood. I can't wait for fall again so that I can get more blue crabs.

Who needs atmosphere when the seafood is THIS FRESH? The sandwiches are quite generous (I recommend the soft shell crab sandwich) & the clam chowder was LOADED with perfectly cooked clams! You can satisfy your appetite for $5-$10 or gorge for $15-$20. Whichever way you do it, you won't be sorry you stopped by this friendly, family-owned-and-operated little gem of a restaurant!

Some friends had told me that the grouper sandwich was the best so that's what I ordered and it truly was!I stopped in for a quick "to go" lunch and will be doing so more often. Also had a cup of clam chowder - tiny clams and I would have preferred stewing clams cut up, but very tasty and also picked up some shrimp salad to go. Everything is VERY fresh, as seafood should be and very tasty as well. Your order is taken at the counter and though there's a short wait for made to order food it's well worth the wait.. The main tip off is that many local people eat there when they have access to all kinds of fresh seafood. That alone says a lot for the food...sandwich was under $7 and a half pound of shrimp salsd was about the same amount but it's all shrimp and seasoned nicely.

My husband thinks I take us too far out of the way to find restaurants when we're traveling. So I was happy to find this place literally one minute off rte 13. We had a great lunch and schmooze with the owner. Crab cakes were a must and these were filled with big lumps of crabmeat with just enough seasoning to make it fun. They're extra proud of their sides & we loved them. We chose cole slaw & stewed tomatoes. Both were made from scratch & A+. Everything was so delicious that we decided we needed to pick up a quart if crab soup to take along to our friend's house. Can't wait to try it for tomorrow's lunch. Lunch for two PLUS a quart of soup to go for $38. Good deal.

Stopped here on our way home to Philly from vacation in Virginia Beach and boy were we glad we did. The flounder sandwich was AMAZING! Ordered it with sliced tomato and onion and mayo. Perfecto! Bay fries were nice and crispy and oh so good - don't you dare even think about ketchup on them. We also ordered the crab soup (not the creamy one but the vegetable one) and it was top-notch. We ordered sides of beet salad and macaroni salad. Both were great but I especially liked the mac salad. To top it off, the owners are a really sweet and happy to chat with all who enter. Do yourself a favor and stop into Beach to Bay for some local high-quality eating.

Good, simple seafood. Crabcakes tasty, but smaller than described.

Doesn't look like much but the food is fantastic. The Maryland Crab Soup was flavorful and chock full of crab meat plus veggies (FYI: they sell this soup under the brand Captains Choice in supermarkets). My husband had a crab cake sandwich which was much larger than expected and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the Bay Fries as a side to whichever entre you choose.

One of the best places in the region for fresh seafood prepared the way it is suppose to be. I am local to the area and you can easily spend less money than in one of the local crab houses that usually get all the attention. My son and I were in today and we had a dozen crabs steamed perfectly, an order of fried oysters, fries hushpuppies, potato salad and cream of crab soup and drinks. we spent 70.00. Everything was great. We love coming here.

Thank you Yelp. I would have never stumbled across this down home cafe. You order from the cashier, get your own beverage from the cooler, pick a seat and await tasty seafood. We chose fried shrimp, oysters, and crab balls! New to me but basically a crab infused hush puppy! Great sides stewed tomatoes, green beans, potato salad, pickled beets and the regular fries and slaw!

From Rich's very welcoming manner to the delicious crab Ames and soft shell crabs, it was top-to-bottom a most enjoyable visit! Amazing soups! Great for kids!
